Available Georgia Scholarships
Georgia GOAL Scholarship
Georgia's largest Student Scholarship Organization (SSO) providing tuition scholarships for eligible K-12 students to attend participating private schools. Funded through Georgia's Education Expense Tax Credit program.
Eligibility Requirements
- Georgia resident
- Prior public school attendance (6 weeks) OR entering Pre-K4/K/1st grade
- Financial need based on family size and income
- Student cannot receive both GOAL and Georgia Promise scholarships
Application Period: Rolling admissions
Georgia Promise Scholarship
New program (SB 233) providing up to $6,500 per year for eligible students from low-performing school zones. Covers private school tuition, textbooks, tutoring, and therapy services.
Eligibility Requirements
- Enrolled in GA public school for 2 consecutive semesters OR rising kindergartner
- Reside in 25% lowest-performing public school attendance zone
- Parent resided in GA for at least 1 year
- Priority for families at/below 400% Federal Poverty Level
Application Period: March 1-31, May 1-31 application windows
Georgia Special Needs Scholarship
SB10/SB47 program for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP) or qualifying 504 Plans to attend participating private schools with scholarship funding.
Eligibility Requirements
- Active IEP or qualifying 504 Plan
- Attended Georgia public school previous year
- Parent is Georgia resident for 1+ years
- Waivers available for military families and foster/adopted children
Application Period: Year-round eligibility
Georgia Student Scholarship Organization
Additional SSO facilitating scholarship applications for Georgia private schools through the tax credit program. Works with partner schools to award need-based scholarships.
